Hibiki Japanese Harmony (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, first released in 2015 and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It brings together malt whisky from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries with grain whisky from Chita, matured in five types of cask including American white oak, sherry and Mizunara. The 24-faceted bottle represents the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese calendar. The nose offers sweet honey, ripe citrus fruit and a little vanilla. On the palate, honey sweetness meets candied orange peel and white chocolate, and the finish is subtle, with a lingering hint of Mizunara oak.
