High Coast Alba II is a limited-edition Swedish single malt from High Coast Distillery, part of its Origins series.
The expression looks at the influence of American oak, pairing maturation in bourbon casks with new American oak. The result is a rich, fruity and spicy whisky.
The nose brings vanilla, caramel and sweet malt with citrus, orchard fruit and fresh oak. On the palate it is full-bodied, with vanilla, honey and citrus balanced by toasted oak and pepper. The finish is long and warming.
