High Coast Hav Batch 03 is a five-year-old single malt from the High Coast Distillery in northern Sweden, bottled at 48%. The distillery stands on the Ångermanälven, where marked swings in temperature and maritime influence shape the maturation.
The whisky matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and Hungarian, Swedish, American and fresh Mongolian oak.
The profile is spicy oak with restrained vanilla, a Nordic freshness and clearly integrated wood.
