High Coast Quercus IV is a seven-year-old single malt from Norrland in Sweden, bottled at 50.8% ABV.
The spirit was distilled on 30 April 2012 and matured in casks made from Quercus mongolica, Mongolian oak. It was bottled at cask strength in August 2019. This is the fourth release in the Quercus series, which looks at how different species of oak shape the whisky.
It is described as showing Mongolian oak, malt, spice, light fruit, vanilla, woody notes and herbal hints.
