The Prisoner's Share is a collaboration between High West Distillery and The Prisoner Wine Company. It is a blend of aged straight rye and straight bourbon whiskeys, finished in The Prisoner Red Blend wine barrels and bottled at 102 proof. The limited-release bottle carries artwork from Francisco Goya.
The nose offers cherry blossom, pomegranate, macerated prunes and toasted cedar chips. The palate brings honey-roasted figs, apricot jam on grilled brioche and black pepper, and the finish has cold-brew coffee, berry crème brûlée and roasted pecans.
