Highland Connection is a six-year-old blended whisky bottled by North Star at 50%. It brings together Highland Park, Ardnamurchan and other Highland malts.
The nose opens with rhubarb smoked over a bonfire, raisins, light maritime smoke and sweet fruit. The palate shows caramelised oranges, pepper, sherry sweetness and wood spice.
The finish is dry and silky, with marzipan and coffee, then a little eucalyptus and smoke.
