This is a vintage blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, Highland Nectar De Luxe, originally produced by The Distillers Agency, an offshoot of DCL. It is known for its distinctive triangular, decanter-style bottle.
Collector impressions describe a nose of cinnamon, golden syrup biscuits, lemon zest, vanilla and honey, and a rich, velvety palate with crème caramel, toffee and heather, plus orange peel, clove and a touch of herbal dryness. The finish is long and warming, with spiced sponge cake, candied citrus and soft oak.
