Highland Park 10 Year Old is a single malt from Orkney, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for ten years in sherry-seasoned casks of both European and American oak, and the distillery's heather-cut peat gives it a gently smoky character.
Honey sweetness sits alongside the smoke, with warming spice and a touch of pepper. The nose brings fresh heather, peat smoke, vanilla and citrus zest, while the palate balances honey, malt and orchard fruits with gentle peat. The finish is medium in length, smoky-sweet with a hint of sea salt.
