Highland Park 12 Year Old is a single malt from Orkney, Scotland, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. The distillery points to its island home's Viking heritage and to a founder, Magnus Eunson, who set its standards in 1798.
The whisky has a natural colour of glowing amber.
The nose offers heather honey sweetness and gentle peaty smoke. On the palate, smoke and honey sweetness come with a full malt character, oak, dried fruits and spice. The finish is sweet and lingering, with heathery notes and a little smoke at the very end.
