An Orcadian single malt Scotch whisky, Highland Park 12 Year Old in its Viking Honour livery, part of the Viking Soul redesign of 2017. The whisky itself is unchanged; the new look and sub-name are the difference. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fresh and aromatic, with floral notes, light grassiness, creamy Manuka honey and a touch of citrus. The palate is fairly full, with grilled orange, granary toast and jasmine green tea, and a little sweetness. The finish is quite long, with peppery spice and wood shavings.
