Highland Park Harald is a single malt from Orkney, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the distillery's Warrior Series and is named in honour of King Harald Fairhair, remembered for uniting Norway.
It is matured in a mix of European and American oak casks.
The nose offers honeycomb, citrus peel, light smoke and spiced oak. On the palate there are rich malt sweetness, dried fruit, nutmeg, toasted oak and a little Orkney peat. The finish is medium to long, with warm spice, soft smoke and honeyed malt.
