Highwood 25 Year Old Canadian Whisky (75cl)

Highwood 25 Year Old is a Canadian whisky made by Highwood Distillers in High River, Alberta, in a 75cl bottle. It is distilled from a blend of western Canadian grains, including prairie wheat and corn. It spent twenty-five years maturing in oak casks in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. The colour is deep golden amber, and the mouthfeel is smooth and velvety. The nose offers vanilla, toasted oak and butterscotch, with dried fruit, soft leather and baking spices. On the palate come caramel, honey, sweet wheat, roasted nuts and a little oak spice. The finish is long, soft and warming, with sweet oak, vanilla and gentle spice.
