Hillside (Glenesk) – Rare Malts 25 Year Old 1971 Limited Edition (70cl, 62%)

This is a 25 year old Hillside from the Rare Malts series, a limited edition labelled 1971, in a 70cl bottle at 62% ABV. Hillside was founded in 1898 by Septimus Parsonage and later became Glen Esk. The name Hillside was used between 1965 and 1980. The tasting description is of a warm gold whisky with aromas of cedar wood, a smooth body, hints of pear on a sweetly fruity palate and a toasted, dry finish.
