Hillwood Distillery – Sherry Cask Strength Single Malt Australian Whisky (50cl, 58.1%)

Hillwood Sherry Cask Strength is a single cask Tasmanian single malt, bottled at 58.1% in a 50cl bottle. It was matured in a French oak sherry cask and is non-chill filtered, taken directly from the cask. Hillwood makes its whisky in the tradition of Scottish single malt, with a distinctive edge from the Tasmanian landscape and an artisanal, family approach. The nose is classic oloroso sherry, rich and sweet-spicy. The palate is big and fruity with nuttiness, and the finish is long, with white pepper and oak.
