Hirsch The Bivouac Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

The Bivouac is a straight bourbon from Hirsch, distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky, and bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It blends two bourbons: 95% from a mash bill of 74% corn, 18% rye and 8% malted barley, aged for at least three years, and 5% from a high malted barley mash of 72% corn, 13% rye and 15% malted barley, aged for at least five years. The nose has barley, cinnamon, cherry and vanilla. The palate is led by maple pecan and peanut, with delicate citrus, stone fruit and honey held together by malted barley.
