Hirsch The Horizon is a straight bourbon blended from two sourced straight bourbon whiskeys, both distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, at MGP. It is bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle.
The inaugural batch, AAH0320, is 94% traditional mash bill bourbon (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley) aged for 5 years and 4 months. The other 6% is a high-rye mash bill bourbon aged for 6 years and 2 months.
The brand is owned by Hotaling & Co. of San Francisco, which began releasing The Horizon in select markets in summer 2020.
