Hirsch The Horizon is a bourbon that combines two straight bourbons distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The back label carries a grid giving the exact specifications of each batch.
Ninety-four per cent of the blend comes from a traditional mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, aged for a minimum of four years. The remaining 6% is distilled from a high rye mash and aged for six years, added for complexity.
