This Hobart Whisky single malt is drawn from a selection of small American oak casks that previously held bourbon. It is batch 19-003, bottled on 8 May 2019 at 55.7% in a 50cl bottle.
The nose is soft and creamy, with vanilla, juicy fruit, baked streusel cake, toffee apples and a gentle maritime note. Shortbread, apricot jam, gingerbread and white chocolate lead the palate, alongside butterscotch and apple pie. The finish is smooth and well textured, with vanilla slice, a burst of citrus, milk chocolate and a hint of peach.
