Hobart Whisky – Pedro Ximenez Solera Single Malt Whisky (50cl, 47.1%)

Hobart Whisky Pedro Ximenez Solera is a Tasmanian single malt in a 50cl bottle at 47.1% ABV, released as a limited edition. It is made using traditional Solera methods. The whisky was matured in American oak barrels, which give spice and vanilla, and finished in PX sherry butts, which add dark fruit, toffee and dried fruit. The nose is led by dates, raisins, red fruit and toffee apple, with light melon and subtle tobacco. The palate is full-bodied and syrupy, with jam, pastry, light leather and pantry spice. The finish lingers with wine gums and light honeycomb, alongside dark chocolate, orange and marmalade.
