Hobart Whisky – Signature Series Single Malt Whisky (50cl, 47%)

This is Hobart Whisky Signature, a single malt from Tasmania, in a 50cl bottle at 47% ABV. It is a marriage of carefully selected American oak ex-bourbon casks, and is described as a light, classic bourbon cask dram with a lively brightness. A couple of drops of water bring out some sweetness and subtle floral tones. The nose is warm caramel fudge with vanilla bean and cinnamon. The palate has vanilla and toffee over malty, clean oak. The finish is long and clean, with hints of sweet marzipan.
