Hobart Whisky – Signature Tasmanian Single Malt (50cl, 48%)

Hobart Whisky Signature is a Tasmanian single malt in a 500ml bottle, bottled at 48%. It is a blend of selected American oak ex-bourbon casks, with a malty base and some gentle spice. On the nose there is baked apple pie with cinnamon, raisins, sweet pastry and vanilla custard. The palate brings marzipan icing and vanilla bean over malt and clean oak, with a sherbet fizz that adds brightness. A few drops of water sweeten it and bring out subtle floral tones. The finish is long and clean, with lingering sherbet and a hint of almond that leaves it semi-dry.
