Blended Whisky
House of Peers is a blended Scotch whisky first released by Douglas Laing & Co. and now part of the Hunter Laing & Co. portfolio. The name draws on the upper chamber of the British Parliament, and the label often shows the Palace of Westminster. The blend was made for export, with Italy, Venezuela and Thailand among its markets in the 1970s. It is described as combining Highland malt whiskies with Lowland grain whiskies.
