House of Peers Finest Scotch Whisky is a blended Scotch from Douglas Laing & Co., in a one-litre bottle at 40% ABV. Bottlings of this blend from the 1970s and 1980s were popular in Italy and other export markets.
The colour is light straw to pale gold, with little caramel colouring.
The nose brings grain, honey and soft yeast spice, with mint, pear juice and lemon zest. The palate is mild and round, with salty spice, smoky malt, toffee and a little dark chocolate. The finish is medium in length, creamy and herbal, with cocoa and oak.
