Howler Head Banana Infused Bourbon is a banana-flavoured Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. The base bourbon is distilled at Green River Distilling Company in Owensboro.
It is aged for a minimum of two years in new American oak barrels with a heavy number 4 char, then blended with natural banana flavouring. No colouring is added.
The nose is ripe banana cream with caramel, vanilla custard and toasted sugar, over light charred oak. The palate offers banana bread, brown sugar, caramel, toffee and a touch of baking spice. The finish is fairly long, with banana toffee, sugared spice and gentle oak sweetness.
