Islay Journey is a blended malt from Hunter Laing, bottled at 46% vol in a 70cl bottle.
It is one of several releases Hunter Laing is bottling ahead of the first single malt from its own Ardnahoe Distillery, also on Islay.
The nose offers smoke, ash and tar with red fruit and vanilla. On the palate, heavy smoke and peat sit alongside rock sugar, vanilla and milk chocolate, and the finish is of medium length.
