This is a 31 year old Springbank bottled by Hunter Laing for its Old & Rare Platinum series. It is a single cask, cask strength Campbeltown single malt, distilled in 1991 and bottled in October 2022 at 49.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a single refill hogshead, and 188 bottles were released. Springbank malts its own barley and bottles on site, and it makes three styles of single malt: Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn. The colour is burnished gold. The nose offers apricots, Highland toffee and light smoke. The palate is subtly sweet, with marzipan, peaches and green herbs, and the finish is medium in length and fruity.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
