Hyde Cask Strength is a single grain Irish whiskey made from corn and triple distilled in a copper Coffey column still. It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 59% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey is matured for at least 8 years in first-fill, flame-charred ex-Bourbon casks from Kentucky.
The nose is cinnamon and clove with sweet caramel and Bourbon-style oak. The palate has robust grain spice and cracked black pepper, followed by buttery vanilla and charred oak. The finish is long and warming, with silky oak, grain sweetness and lingering spice.
