Hyde No. 1 President's Cask is a limited-edition 10 year old Irish single malt, made from 100% Irish malted barley. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill filtered.
The whiskey matures in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, then receives a finishing maturation in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers ripe peach, banana, vanilla and citrus with floral notes and toasted oak. On the palate come raisins, dates, caramel, orange peel, chocolate and warming spice. The finish is medium to long, with peppery oak, dark chocolate, citrus and lingering sherry sweetness.
