Hyde No. 4 President's Cask 1922 is a limited-edition Irish whiskey, a blend of single malt and single grain whiskeys, in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured first in ex-Bourbon casks and then finished in Caribbean dark rum casks, which add tropical fruit, vanilla, caramel and spice.
The nose is sweet vanilla and caramel with tropical fruit, molasses and gentle oak. The palate is smooth and rounded, with mango, banana, brown sugar, vanilla, toasted oak and warm spice. The finish runs medium to long, with tropical sweetness, caramel, oak and spice.
