Hyde No. 4 is an Irish single malt from West Cork, triple distilled in pot stills and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. This President's Cask is Batch 4, limited to 5,000 individually numbered bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The whiskey first matured in bourbon casks and was then finished in Dark Barbados rum casks. The finish adds tropical fruit and a hint of rum raisin.
The nose is rich and fruity with vanilla, mango, ripe apple and a rum bouquet. The palate offers passion fruit, mango, fresh ginger, molasses and creamy caramel, leading to a spicy finish with buttery vanilla.
