As We Get It is a series from Ian Macleod Distillers, and this edition is an Islay single malt bottled undiluted, straight from the cask, at 60.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose has intense peat smoke with apples and pears, toffee and cream caramel. The palate is full and complex, with balanced peat smoke, malty sweetness, orchard fruit, marzipan and fine oak spice. The finish is of medium length, moving from sweet to spicy, with lingering smoke.
