Indri – Dru Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 57.2%)

Dru is a cask strength single malt from Indri, bottled at 57.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from ex-bourbon barrels that were selected by hand and married together by the master blender. The name comes from Sanskrit, where dru means wood, tree or a vessel made of wood. In Indian mythology, Dru was the vessel used to collect soma, a drink offered to the gods. The nose offers mixed fruit, vanilla, light citrus, gentle spice, chocolate and honey. The palate is sweet and fruity with soft spice, vanilla and a hint of chocolate, and the finish is full and fairly long, with mixed fruit.
