Indri – Dru Cask Strength (70cl, 57.2%)

A cask strength single malt from Indri in India, bottled at 57.2% in a 70cl bottle. Dru is made from selected ex-bourbon barrels, handpicked and married together by the master blender. The name comes from Sanskrit, where 'dru' means wood, tree or a vessel made of wood. In ancient Indian mythology, Dru was the vessel in which soma was collected and offered to the gods. The nose has mixed fruit, vanilla, light citrus, gentle spice, chocolate and honey. The palate is sweet and fruity with soft spice, vanilla and a hint of chocolate, with citrus coming through late. The finish is fairly long and fruity.
