Indri is a single malt Indian whisky made by Piccadily Distilleries in the village of Indri, near the foothills of the Himalayas. It is made from indigenous six-row barley.
The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-French wine and PX sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 50cl bottle.
The palate is typically described as dried fruits, raisins and figs with vanilla, honey and caramel, plus orange peel, baking spices and toasted oak. The PX sherry casks add sweetness. The finish is long and warming, balancing fruit, spice and oak.
