Inver House Green Plaid Rare Scotch is a blended Scotch whisky with a stated age of three years, bottled at 40% ABV. It is made by Inver House Distillers and has been bottled since the 1970s, in retro packaging.
The nose is light, with sweet malt, faint vanilla, orange peel and ginger, over subtle floral and grain notes. On the palate, sweet malt and orange come with a hint of ginger and light tannin. The finish is short and sweet, with lingering malt and citrus and a slight dryness.
