A 17-year-old single grain from Invergordon in the Highlands, bottled by Duncan Taylor in its Octave series to mark the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import. The whisky was distilled on 20 March 2009, finished in an Oloroso sherry cask and bottled on 15 September 2026 at 55.5%. Only 82 bottles were filled. The Octave series uses small casks, which give the whisky close contact with the wood. Tasting notes point to sweet vanilla, caramel and toffee, with dark dried fruit, nuts, cocoa and fine oak spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
