Invergordon – 1972–2015 43 Year Old Single Cask Single Grain (42.2%)

This is a single cask Invergordon single grain Scotch whisky, distilled in 1972 and bottled by Adelphi in 2015 at 43 years old. It matured in a refill ex-bourbon barrel, which filled 140 bottles at 42.2%. The long maturation brings together aged oak, fresh fruit, orange peel, linseed oil, herbal notes, cereal and vanilla, along with an old-fashioned cask spice.
