This is a 24 year old Invergordon distilled in 1997 and released in autumn 2021 by Dràm Mòr. It was matured in a single bourbon barrel, and 196 bottles were filled.
The nose begins with old-fashioned wood polish, oak and beeswax, slightly spirity at first. Pear crumble with vanilla cream follows, along with sweet oak and a touch of citrus zest. The palate is soft and oaky, with sandalwood, leather-bound books and pipe tobacco. The finish is full-bodied and spicy, with a gentle bitterness and a fine sweetness like agave nectar.
