It is bottled at 51.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in a single refill sherry butt and was bottled without chill filtration or added colouring, with 740 bottles produced. Invergordon distillery was established in 1959 near Invergordon in the Highlands. The nose offers gentle spice, old books, fudge and home baking. The palate is warming, with vanilla and a lemon meringue pie character. The finish shows the influence of the sherry cask, with soft coffee and biscuit flavours.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
