A 17 year old Invergordon from the Warehouse No. 1 series by Claxton's. It was distilled on 14 September 2006, matured in a PX sherry hogshead and bottled in winter 2023, with 299 bottles filled.
The nose has a little musk, fine hints of heather and vanilla, and a touch of aniseed sweets. The palate is elegant and layered, with liquorice, cola and a hint of root beer, along with vanilla ice cream.
The finish brings back the cola, with liquorice root running through the aftertaste.
