Irish Whiskey Bonding Co Chancer Peated Small Batch (70cl, 43%)

Chancer Peated Small Batch is a blended Irish whiskey from the Irish Whiskey Bonding Co, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It combines five components, including a peated Shortcross malt that gives the blend its smoky note. The whiskey was matured in a mix of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and virgin American oak casks. It is bottled in small batches without added colour. The nose is light smoke, sweet grain and fruit. On the palate, honeyed sweetness sits alongside grain, fruit and the spice of a pot still character. The finish is long, balancing sweet and smoky notes, with that same pot still spice.
