Grafter is a small-batch blended Irish whiskey from the Irish Whiskey Bonding Company, in a 70cl bottle. It brings together five Irish whiskeys, among them Shortcross Single Malt, sourced double- and triple-distilled malt, pot still and grain whiskey.
The components are matured in bourbon barrels and virgin American oak, giving a fruity, cereal-sweet style with vanilla and gentle spice.
The nose is floral, with fresh citrus and light vanilla. On the palate come pear, melon and vanilla-caramel, and the finish is smooth, with honey and gentle oak spice.
