Islay Storm is an Islay single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery that makes the whisky is not named. It is bottled by CS James & Sons, part of the Vintage Malt Whisky Company.
The character is strongly peaty and smoky, with salty and lightly sweet impressions and vanilla and spice alongside.
The nose is led by intense peat smoke, with phenolic notes and a light sea breeze. On the palate, sweetness meets smoky peat, with iodine and sea salt, a little vanilla and spice. The smoke carries into a long finish.
