Isle of Harris – 8 Years Old 2018 Adelphi Selection

This is an 8 year old single malt from the Isle of Harris Distillery in Tarbert, in the Outer Hebrides, selected and bottled by Adelphi Selection. It was distilled in 2018. It spent eight years in a single first fill bourbon American Standard Barrel, a 200-litre white oak cask that is still very active on its first fill with Scotch, typically adding vanilla, sweetness and a touch of spice. The single cask is bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The island's spirit is known for a fresh, coastal and maritime character.
