The Hearach is a single malt from the Isle of Harris distillery in the Outer Hebrides. It is made from 100% Scottish Concerto barley, lightly peated to between 12 and 15 ppm, with the peat cut by hand in the south of Harris. The distillery draws its fresh water from the Abhainn Cnoc a Charrain.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks, then spent a few more weeks in sherry butts. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
