Isle of Jura Tide is a 21 year old single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is sweet and smoky in style.
The whisky was first matured in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels, then aged further in hand-selected virgin American white oak casks, which add a spicy character.
The nose offers lemon cake, ginger and creamy caramel. The palate begins with macaroon, allspice and gingerbread, then moves to frangipane, marzipan and white chocolate. The finish brings lemon curd and a touch of smoky coconut.
