Isle of Raasay 2018/2023 Single Malt - Scottish Distillery of the Year Edition (70cl, 50.7%)

This is a limited single malt from Isle of Raasay Distillery, distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2023. The edition marks the distillery's title of Scottish Distillery of the Year and runs to 9,500 bottles. The whisky matured in a combination of Four Roses bourbon casks and Quercus humboldtii casks. It is bottled at 50.7% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring. The nose offers ripe apples and pears with fine vanilla and spice. The palate is full, with caramel, honey and a gentle spiciness, and the long finish brings sweet wood and spice.
