This is a 7 year old single cask from Isle of Raasay, part of the Na Sia Single Cask Series. It shows one of the peated Bordeaux components of the distillery's regular single malt on its own, rather than blended with the others.
The spirit was distilled in 2018 and matured for seven years in a single Bordeaux red wine cask, #18/792, then bottled in 2026 at a natural cask strength of 59.3%. There are 298 bottles in 70cl size. It is non-chill-filtered and not coloured.
The nose combines ripe strawberries, cherries, plums and blackberries with woodsmoke, pepper and a sea breeze. The palate brings sultanas and dried figs ahead of dense peat smoke, with oak spice, cinnamon and an oily texture. The finish is long, spicy and lightly sweet with vanilla.
