This is a peated Hebridean single malt from Isle of Raasay, distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2026 at seven years old. Part of the Na Sia Single Cask Series, it matured entirely in a single rye cask, number 18/839, which gave 243 bottles at a cask strength of 57.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Raasay opened in 2017 as the first legal distillery on the island. Here its peat smoke meets the spice of the rye cask. The nose shows fine wood smoke, creamy butterscotch, sweet vanilla, soft marshmallow and a touch of lemon.
