This is a single malt from Isle of Raasay Distillery, released in August 2025 and matured entirely in Marsala Vergine wine barriques from Sicily's Frazzitta winery. The spirit combines peated and unpeated malt, which gives a lightly smoky character.
It is bottled at 50.7% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour, in a run of 12,300 bottles.
The nose brings grape must and Parma violets alongside delicate fruit and gentle acidity. On the palate come stewed apples, sweet pears, maple syrup and ginger, with a touch of balsamic. The finish is long and gently smoky, with toasted toffee, orchard fruits and oak spice.
